The development of food packaging machinery industry

low-level repeated production

in the early 1980s, when China just entered the market economy, a group of small and medium-sized enterprises that originally manufactured machine tools and agricultural machinery encountered great difficulties under the impact of the market economic tide, so they moved to the packaging machinery and food machinery industry with good market prospects. In addition, due to market demand, some private enterprises have also begun to find a way out in packaging and food machinery

due to the different backgrounds of enterprises (state-owned, collective and private), there are great differences in capital, equipment and technical forces, and the starting point is the same. The overall pattern is less high starting point. For example, there are nearly 100 enterprises producing automatic sealing machines in a region, and the scale is not large. There has been little change in the past two decades, but the production cost has been greatly reduced due to the implementation of specialized production. Although this product is in great demand, its profit margin is very low due to a large number of repeated production in the same region

some products, such as small liquid filling machines, have not changed for more than ten years. There are many manufacturers, and low-cost competition has seriously affected the quality of products. Many enterprises just follow others and do whatever equipment is marketable, regardless of intellectual property rights. An entrepreneur said that in the past, he paid great attention to product innovation, but every new product was followed less than half a year after it came out

in 2017, the production and sales of industrial robots will exceed 120000. Recently, some enterprises found great business opportunities in foreign markets, so they rushed to the market. In order to seize the overseas market, domestic enterprises are killing each other overseas, desperate to bargain. This practice is very easy. weak innovation ability of enterprises

although the number of employees and the total number of enterprises in the food and packaging machinery industry are large, the scientific research strength of the industry is weak, and the corresponding majors of scientific research institutions and colleges and universities in the industry are relatively few. Especially after the scientific research institutes were later changed into enterprises, most of the technical personnel were struggling for survival. Many scientific research institutions mainly sold products and did not give full play to their own advantages. Even if there were new research results, they could not be transformed into productive forces in time because they were unable to publicize and promote them, and enterprises had to rely on their own technical strength to develop new products

some cutting-edge technologies in the industry, such as ultra-low temperature, ultra-high pressure, membrane separation, supercritical extraction, radiation, vacuum, etc., cannot be completed by a certain institute alone, and enterprises are in urgent need of investment. The R & D mode of combining production, learning and research advocated in the past has not been successful in the industry, and the limited scientific research force has not been brought into full play. insufficient production concentration

however, due to insufficient production concentration, there are only a dozen enterprises in the food and packaging machinery industry with annual output value and sales of more than 100 million yuan, the best enterprises with output value and sales of just over 1 billion yuan, and only one listed enterprise. There are only 50 enterprises with annual sales of more than 30million yuan. The total sales of these 50 enterprises are only 8billion yuan, with a concentration of 20.66%. 75% of their export products are completed by these enterprises. In the future, large enterprises in the industry will be produced in these enterprises. Industry insiders predict that by the end of this year, there will be 100 enterprises with annual sales of more than 30million yuan and production concentration of more than 50%

for enterprises, industry experts believe that we should strengthen brand cultivation and constantly innovate in the competition, otherwise only those who are eliminated. We can see that although there are many production enterprises in the fields of beer and beverage filling production line, corrugated board production line, instant noodles production line, cup filling machine, wide film laminating machine, barrel blow molding machine with more than 200 liters, BOPP bottle blowing machine, chocolate equipment and so on, those with high popularity and large sales volume have shown an obvious concentration trend, and well-known enterprises and well-known brands are gradually taking shape
